A HISTORY OF OUR CLUB

Our History

Market Harborough 41 Club was presented with its charter on 28th November 1971 when members of Market Harborough Round Table came of age and decided to form the Club.

Meeting for many years at the Three Swans Hotel in the middle of Market Harborough, the Club was formed as a Dinner Club for ex Round Tablers to continue the traditions of having fun and fellowship with other ex tablers, whilst supporting the development of a strong and vibrant local Round Table.

The Club has evolved over the years and now undertakes a range of activities both socially and supportively within meetings and outside in the local community but still maintains its original focus of supporting the Market Harborough Round Table Family.

We are over 30 members strong and have now celebrated our 50th year - as has Market Harborough Tangent who were chartered in the same year as the 41 Club.

Market Harborough 41 Club currently meet at The Waterfront Restaurant, for dinner meetings, but also enjoy visiting other eateries and entertainment venues around Market Harborough and the surrounding area.
